About Richards Computer Services

Starting out as young man nearly 20 years ago i started out fixing friends and family's computers and laptops and playing with the Wi-Fi speeds to get the best i could. As the years progressed my knowledge grew as i trained more and more in the world of IT, yet it is still growing as IT is always changing.

This hobby then turned into something more with word of mouth spreading fast and doing local advertising it soon became something more, something impactful, something meaningful.

I noticed that the problem with every high street IT shop every other person who said they were a computer engineer it seemed to be a get rich quick scheme in order to make some easy money. This wasn't the service I believed was right and certainly not the way I'd run an Independent Business, so with that in mind in 2015 i started taking note of the requests of people on social media and what the common problems were that I kept noticing. I then found the costs that were being charged were extortionate and realised I wanted to change that and provide a service that put the customer first. A year later rather than just being another "IT Guy" I thought of the name Richards Computer Services, unfortunately yes this does mean I get called Richard!

Over the years following on from this I have strived to build up my reputation and Richards Computer Services to become something bigger than just one guy and now I have become the leading independent IT engineer in Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas. Providing an honest approach and working with the principle it can take years to build a reputation but it can disappear overnight, I try to make sure every customer feels fully satisfied with the overall service they receive from the moment they first talk with me on the phone, drop me an email, or meet me in person to shaking hands at the end of the job I do all I can to ensure the customer is happy to recommend me or return to me if the need arise.
